Not that I care a whole lot about this or have ever been up in arms about the steroid issue, but it would be a pretty sweet FU to see this happen.

But then, I saw that we could vote to brand it with an asterisk and then send to the Hall of Fame and voted for that.

 

I wonder if the Hall of Fame would put it on display if it has an asterisk on it.

That is by far the best choice. Brand the sucker and send it to the HOF. When Bonds eventually goes into the HOF and takes his tour around the place, he will see that branded baseball and see what he did to the game.

I vote brand it. But you know as well as i do if they do that, Cooperstown will just turn the ball so that part is not showing in the display case. Thats why I think we should brand it, repeatedly. Cover the entire friggin thing in asterisks.

This is bizarre. Marc Ecko? Really? I remember when his line of clothing first came out, and it was really dope, so i'd travel a few hours to buy some, because it never came to peoria. when it did it was played out and the only place it would be at in the mall was the Buckle, which is the most annoying store of all time. those people just never would leave me alone, you know?

Honestly though I think its a good thing this is happening. First off it shows that fans still have a say in the game (in one form or another). Second, I think that asterisk is more than just an attack on Bonds and really exemplifies the era of Baseball we are living in and stands to show those that come after us what it was like better than some article on a wall somewhere. If Barry had been a forthcoming, polite person, this would NEVER have happened.
