Hey, it's Fontenot

Great.

I know what you are saying but there really is no reason for Ward to lead off an inning. Id rather he come up with runners on.

I'd rather have the guy with the 438 OBP get on for Soto and Soriano.

Leaving Ward on the bench for a chance to hit with people on base is Dusty managing at its finest.

I see your point

Getting to the end of the year and it seems Brenley is ripping on the cubs a little more lately. I'm glad.

Probably because he's in the last year of his broadcasting contract and he's looking to get back into the dugout.

Why the hell is Fontenot pinch hitting?

Perhaps it's the .400 OBP he has as a pinch-hitter?

Yeah those 20 PAs seem pretty rock solid for a sample.

EDIT: beaten

What are the pitching matchups for the final two games of this series?

Zambrano and Lilly versus Harang and garbage.

Another game of beating ourselves. How can our offense look like world beaters 1 inning and incompetent idiots the other 8. Blah!

Whoever that 'garbage' pitcher is, he'll notch another W to his record after facing the Cubs.
