Why does Floyd play over Ward? I have a lot more confidence in Ward.

He seems to be swinging a heck of a lot better, Lou has to go with the hot hand. I'll bet Floyd whines a lot when he's not playing compared to Ward excepting what his role is.

Well if that's the case it is an easy situation to remedy.

Loads of bad swings today, especially by Floyd.

Thats been Floyd all year

Except of course until he rips a pitch foul down the right line to a chorus of ooohs and aahs from the Wrigley crowd, re-instilling false confidence in his ability to hit for any semblance of power whatsoever.

Floyd's Post-ASG OPS is pretty close to starting with a 6.

Why does Floyd play over Murton? I have a lot more confidence in Murton.

Fixed

Well, of course Murton would be better, but if you're going to play a big slow LH in RF, why not play Ward?

his SLG is .384, that's extremely pathetic for a corner outfielder. Especially one who's supposed to be a "power hitter"

Is there anyway to tell how many runs more we would have scored had Murton played up to his career numbers and got to play everyday?

Yet he hasn't had to produce and earn his time. Hell Lou even sat Jacque for a while.

I know, I mean how far into the season do you have to be before you realize this is not 2000 Floyd, this is 2007 and hes not going to suddenly get better.

And couldn't catch a beach ball. He just looks uncomfortable up there to me and either be a hitter or somebody else should be out there that at least can play defense.
