He's been pitching well since the all-star break, and it still takes two months for this to happen.

Yay, Lou describes our rotation as "modified 6 man" rotation and that Steve will pitch against some teams.

 

nice when we are done with the team that we'd need an extra righty for (Brewers)

You don't have to be old in order to be old enough for this team to have made you eternally cynical. You saw the teams of the 50s and early 60s, so I'm sure you reached this level of Cub cynicism at a much earlier age.
