A homer here would do wonders to make me actually think of this game as anything but one of the worst of the season.

How many innings is this now where we get two outs right away, then put two guys on before crapping out? This will be the third, at least

I am so tired of the excuses the announcers make for Lee. Pujols gets pitched just as tough, he still seems to hit for power.

Comparing Lee to Pujols is pretty bad. Lee has failed to make any adjustments on how to hit the pitches that are on the outside corner. It looked like he was doing a good job of that early on in the season, but now he's just looking at those pitches and is digging himself into bad hitter's counts almost every time he's up.

I always found Lee as a stand-up guy and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't make an excuse for his suckiness the last couple of months. So anytime Len and Bob can stop making excuses for him would be fine with me.

Well what we need to do then this offseason is get the ype of hitter that will allow is ot move Lee into a less crucial position. He is very overpaid.
