You idiot, every pitcher is born with the ability to lay perfect bunts if they just practice!

 

Newsflash, bunts are hard to get down for most position players, guys who have been batting their entire professional careers. Pitchers are noticably worse. It's not excusing them, just saying it's not as simple as stick the bat out and get it down when a guy's throwing 90mph with movement.

He's had 6 months to practice it this year, though.

He's had 6 months to practice it this year, though.

 

Something tells me a guy with a grand total of 11 sacrifices in his major and minors...well, yeah.

I don't know why people are surprised that Soriano is struggling. He doesn't have a good grasp of the strike zone anyways and when you've missed 3 weeks that will only be magnified.

 

It's going to take some time.
