However, just because a player isn't on the 25-man roster doesn't mean he isn't eligible for postseason play. Teams are allowed an inventory of everybody in their system, including players on the 60-day disabled list. As long as a player is in the Cubs organization, he's eligible.

 

If the Cubs add someone from outside the organization after Sept. 1, he would not be eligible for the postseason roster.

 

I thought that the postseason rosters were finalized tommorow, other than the 60 day-DL. Am I wrong?

I've said it before but I've never seen lefties suck more at holding runners than our lefties.

 

And Corey Hart's "great catch" of Theriot's wasn't a great catch at all. He broke in then had to recover Edmonds style.

Why does Rickie Weeks stand right over the plate?

 

He wears the "Bonds Armor" on his lead elbow... not scared to stand near and lean into the plate.
