here comes a 2 out rbi single

Can't win em all. Not sure Wood will ever be dominating again. Never seen him more hittable.

We did lose ground, to the Cardinals (if we lose)

Could've had a 2.5 game lead though. These numerous missed opportunities will bite them in the ass eventually.

Yeah, well I guess we won't have to worry about Wood taking up a roster spot next year.

Yeah, if this is what he "owes" to the team, I don't want any more of it next year

Alright, here goes...

We go 1 out, 2 out, single, 3rd out in top 8

ARI scores another in their 8th

Then we put together a fake rally in the 9th... GOOSEBUMPS!!

IF the game wasn't over after that, it is now.

Eyre is in. Don't know whose Wuertz, him or Michael W.

Eyre has pitched very very well for quite some time now.

As long as you let him face just one hitter. He's a lot like Michael Worst that way.

I know nothing about baseball and stuff, but why are guys like Theriot and Fontenot constantly swinging for the fences??

Not that they don't have occasional pop, but its SOOO frustrating to see them take big upper-cut hacks and pop up weakly 66% of the time, at least.

Nobody in the major leagues "swings for the fences".

He's given up just 2 runs in his last 16 outings (counting tonight), and counting tonight, he's faced more than 1 batter in 15 of those outings.

He still walks a million people, but he's pitching much better.

However, his baseball-reference page says he weighs 160 pounds.
