Has anyone received an invoice for ordering playoff tickets? They usually send them out around the middle of August as long as the team is within 5 games or so of the playoffs. We haven't gotten ours yet, just wondering if anyone else has. Thanks.

I have been told that last week the Cubs contacted bleacher season ticket holders to ask where they want their seats to be, since playoff tickets are all assigned. AT that time they were told the invoices for all playoff tickets will come out the week starting the 27th. No ticket prices were mentioned.

Still 6930 and waiting...

Would I get them by 60?

Yeah, I'm 34000+

Hope my grandkids enjoy them.

When did you sign up? Was there a huge increase somewhere?

I signed up last fall...I'm # 25K something or other

Yeah, I haven't moved up even one spot for a while now. I don't think I've moved up since sometime last year. How often do they adjust those numbers? Is it an annual thing?

I'm at 2793.

Hey, if they just add another 3,000 seats your in!

BTW...Where's the next addition come from? I'm half way surprised they haven't attempted to buy the buildings accross the street and make the rooftops some sort of premium "Wrigley" seats (like the seats on top the monster in Fenway)...

I signed up at the end of '04. Lots of people apparently dumped their tickets/or refused to buy as their number came up in the interim as the Dusty era beat the fanbase's spirits into a pulp, allowing me to move up.

I've often thought that the rooftops could easily be added to the official Wrigley capacity, but I imagine that the Cubs are reluctant to assume the liability issues that would come with making them fully 'vested' seating sections.

Another issue is that if they were part of the general ticket allocation, the gate receipts would have to be split with the visiting teams; as it is, the rooftop payments stay in the Cubs' coffers.

For those who have recently gotten off the list, how many tickets are you allowed to buy? I'd guess 2 or 4, but I have no idea.
