Pie singled to right field , Kendall to third

Fred, Fred, Fred!!!

Now you're robbing Pie of slugging percentage?

What is going on?

Don't get your shorts in a knot. I got everything under control. Thanx.

Being up 10-1 in the 4th inning is soooo awesome, but man, at the same time... this is hard to watch.

WHERE THE HELL WAS SOME OF THIS ANY OF THE LAST 3 DAYS!?!?! *sigh*

Sorry for the rant. Thanks for listening, though! :P

Teams go through rough patches and good patches, it happens.

Not to mention yesterday's game was a little bit of bad luck as well. It's pretty hard to have 17 baserunners and only get 2 runs. Tonight, the RISP numbers are good again, and those baserunners are scoring in bunches.

Just for fun since I already posted his numbers as a Cub since the 1-15 start, here's the updated line in his last 12 games (45 PA's):

.385/.467.538

So does anyone think that Murton hitting the only two homeruns this team has in the last six months will be enough to keep him in the starting lineup just a LITTLE more often?

True enough..... but this is why we double check everything before we post it to their totals !!

I don't know the exact numbers, but it HAD to be somewhere near 0-30 for the Cubs w/ RISP in that whole series vs the Astros - going by what Len was saying last night anywho - before they finally did something about it late last night. That's a little more than just "a little bad luck".

Considering we've been hitting awfully well with RISP over the past 2 months, it very well may have been just that.

This is team is so frustrating. They can't score to save a life in Houston and now in four innings, they put up a 10-spot.

dude, it is because you aren't there

Man, this is just about the model of inefficiency. The umpire's horrible strike zone isn't helping one bit.

Seriously. Vance, what's the Cubs' record with you in attendance so far this year?

1-9 I saw it earlier :)

I love the high mountain air in Colorado...that must be the reason for this outpouring of runs tonight. Whatever it is, let's keep it going!

I think Fred said the Cubs were 1-9 with vance in attendance this year earlier in the thread.
