So how does everyone feel about the rest of this series with Zambranos game being a loss? Now we have to rely on Ted Lilly and Jason Marquis to get us a series win. Doesn't look good at all.

Cubs are destined to lose two of three now.

I think we'll win 1 of these games.

A sweep is my opinion.. Hope I'm wrong of course, but we've been catching so many breaks the last 6 weeks, it's bound to catch up w/ us..

That was a total meltdown from Dempster.

He just isn't very good.

Hmmmm...he has been for most of the year.

His career has just been so-so. He isn't the type of guy who closes on most great playoff teams.

I love all the posts saying the cubs are 6-7 in their last 13 games. That is such an ESPNish stat. Let me guess, they are 7-7 in their last 14? Maybe 8-7 in their last 15?

We're going to get swept unless we start hitting homeruns.

Well, the Cubs have to win the next two games. No excuse for a playoff team going 3-4 on a homestand.

I just don't want to go 2-5. This is the game we really should have won. I tend to agree with CyHawk, I would not be shocked to be swept.

And yet we are still in first place...

Why? I think people, including myself are pointing out that we are no longer hot and playing above .500 baseball.
