If our starting rotation doesn't start going deeper into games in August, our bullpen could start unravel awfully fast. I don't expect much from Marquis, so Hill and Marshall need to step it up .... pronto.

I love all the posts saying the cubs are 6-7 in their last 13 games. That is such an ESPNish stat. Let me guess, they are 7-7 in their last 14? Maybe 8-7 in their last 15?

Why? I think people, including myself are pointing out that we are no longer hot and playing above .500 baseball.

Amazing thing is that we were able to take first place in that stretch. Probably just lost it though.

Jones grounded into a DP, 6-3, DeRosa out at second, Floyd to third

Can we release him tomorrow, pretty please??? We'd me much better off.

Jacque Jones is so great at baseball. I love him. He's my favorite player ever. I loved his signing, I loved his 3 year deal, I love his OF defense, I love his plate discipline, I love his attitude, I love his total lack of power.

He's dreamy.

I wouldn't be so sure. Brewers are finding ways to lose right now.
