Hmmmmm. What is wrong with this?

From Cubs.com:

Aramis Ramirez and Daryle Ward have RBIs as the Cubs go for the split in DC.

Its hardly insane, players need days off. It is a long, long season, guys are going to need rest. Ward is a fine replacement, and everyone's favorite whipping boy even contributed 2 doubles.

I love seeing the overboard reactions everytime a starter gets a day off.

How often is cubs.com main page less optimistic than the board?

I have to say, Lou is a genius. He has made a lot of the backup guys happy by starting them tonight, won the game, and gotten partial rest for some key starters. That's going to come in handy down the road.

I can't believe we won with that lineup.

Ward's big day makes me less worried about Lee's suspension.

Good to see Marshall back on track. Hill is the only starter right now that we have to worry about.

4.5 games back!!!!!!
