Embarrassing. Bizarre day. Part of me wants to say that I am through with them for the season, but maybe this can turn out to be a turning point. Wishful thinking i suppose.

The only way this is a turning point is if Z and Barrett manage to put each other on the DL so the Cubs won't have to suffer through their pitiful play for a while.

Z's days as a Cub are clearly numbered.

 

As this point, I'd like to see him shipped to first taker for some prospects and Guzman moved into the rotation. Barrett, on the other hand, I'd take a bucket of baseballs for him - used even.
