I HATE YOU CHICAGO CUBS!

kind of appropriate that was my 1,000th post

fixed

good point....it's more of a true statement this way..that being said marquis needs to throw a no hitter to win the game, but even at that point he'll walk in a run somehow and the cubs lose

This season is coming very close to being a lost cause, AGAIN.

When you have a monkey like Hendry running the show what do you expect? Time to clear house.

It's a shame. Some players on the team are having excellent seasons.

This has all the makings of "we lost the first 2 with pathtic offense and now we are facing a shutdown pitcher so we'll probably get swept but all the sudden our bats come alive and stave off a sweep with a blowout victory"

No doubt this happens, then the Cubs score 3 runs in the first 2 games against LA and start it all over again.

I don't think clearing will suffice. We've got to burn the mother down.

the only thing that keeps it close to not being a lost cause is the fact the NL central is playin just as bad right now

I said it yesterday, I'll say it today.

I forsee Lou putting an offense out there with plans of running a small ball offense. We'll manufacture one run through seven innings after running out of two rallies, one caught stealing and one busted hit-and-run, bust through with three more runs in the eighth on a three run shot, and lose 7-4.

I fell asleep after work today & I had a dream to Cubs loaded the bases today with 1 out and Jones up and he's on an 0-2 pitch... Still swinging at crappy pitches. Then I suddenly woke up.

He was a little more selective than usual in his 1 AB yesterday, though.

I almost had the lineup today correct-I had Theriot and DeRosa switched, but Lou must have decided that with DeRosa's hitting last night and Theriot's relatively cold bat lately (5 for 27 with 1 BB his last 6 games). Hopefully the team plays well tonight.
