A partial list of Millers I'd rather see out on the mound than Wade:

Sarcastic comic Dennis

Beloved police captain Barney

Sing along with Mitch

Noted Yankee manager Huggins

Space Cowboy Steve

Former Bear QB Jim

Do-wacka-do Roger

Wade Miller-S-Cubs May. 15 - 5:00 pm et

Wade Miller (back) allowed three runs and seven hits in 5 2/3 innings Tuesday in his first rehab start for Double-A Tennessee.

Miller will make at least one more rehab start. The Cubs may decide not to put him back in their rotation if Angel Guzman remains effective.

Ha. I just thought it was a BS injury to get Guzman in the majors.

Actually a BS injury to get Miller out of the majors.

He wasn't done, he hadn't even gotten to Hugh Jackman yet.

Don't forget Andrew Miller.

Unbelievable! Jim Hendry is officially dead to me unless Miller gets traded.

Crap, that happened for me when he traded Mitre and Nolasco to Florida for Slappy the lost ninja turtle.

His fastest pitch of the night, an 88-mph fastball

that's real encouraging. this organization is mind-boggling in its incompetence.

That's good. Last time out, his fastest pitch of the night was 84 mph. At this pace, in 3 more starts, he'll hit 100 on his fastest pitch!

Touche!

nothing in that article suggested the organization had any plans to use him any time soon.

I'm sure he is crying in his beer at your loss.

Nothing in the article is concrete evidence that he is the 5th starter, but the very fact that it was written suggests the organization has plans to use him.

Can he be a middle relief guy? Or is he still against the bullpen?

He should be released. He has nothing to offer this team, period.

Rotoworld just posted a blurb on Wade saying he will probably be in another organization by the end of June.
