John Dewan says the Cubs are projected number two best team in the NL +21 (after the Mets). If they keep up the pace the Cubs will win 93 games.

.600 winning pct.

Who's John Dewan?

Author of The Fielding Bible and baseball statistics guru/luminary.

Recommend his book?

Peripherals don't matter. We need to get more clutchy.

I suggest having runners stand on 2nd base during batting practice to simulate hitting with RISP.

And having a lefty throw batting practice.

Great ideas. I think if we put some bunting around the stadium it might make it feel like a high pressure playoff game.

hahahahahahahahahah

Bahaha, thats awesome!

He's a candle in a bag???

That's one meaning.

Merriam-Webster's first meaning though is "a person of prominence or brilliant achievement."

His HR's come in bunches. I wouldn't be surprised if he's up to 5 by next week.

I'd take that!

my fantasy team would take that...CMON Marquis time for a shutdown inning
