how can you not love Nocioni? I knew him coming back for the playoffs was going to be huge

Well, Skiles was all over him for his crappy defense early in the 2nd half (and rightfully so), but he was huge offensively in the first half. Especially those late 7 points at the end of the first quarter.

I love Charles Barkley.

After they broke into the postgame for Riley at the podium, Charles says "we interrupted for that? Just say 'We got our ass kicked' and be done with it!"

Albert and Kerr said that Riley doesn't like to make excuses. He sure didn't get hsi point across to the team. Great job on defense tonight by Wallace. Shaq has really been shut down in both second halves which is a big part of the Bulls' success. I like Sefolosha more and more everyday.

Can we please get an ounce of respect after this exhibition? We put those boys to work tonight.

This by no means is the end of the series, but we took care of business on our hand, and have to just drop the hammer. If we can get out of this series with only 5 or 6 games, that would keep us reasonably fresh against the Pistons.

Suck it, Heat. How many are still picking them to win in 6? Frequent Chicago-hater and possible gay-lover of Jay Mariotti, Skip Bayless picked them in 5 I believe. (Also wouldn't stop talking about Hinrich intentionally trying to break Wade's wrist or something. Annoying)

I'd still love to know how this isn't a foul:

How many times was Steve Kerr gonna try and hand the momentum to Miami? Of course Miami was going to make runs, it was a playoff game, but they never had momentum. Saying it doesn't make it true.

No referee whining needed tonight, Shaq. You and Wade were whistled for 4 fouls put together and you were simply obliterated by a better basketball team.

Let's sweep these idiots out of the playoffs.

95% of the teams win the series if they win the first two playoff games

wasn't Chicago one of the 5% two years ago?

and the Bulls are 2 years better. With Big Ben at center instead of whoever was filling in for Curry.

i wasn't trying to make any point. The stat just made the memory of that Wizards series come flooding back

Tyson/Othella/Crap

We made Michael Ruffin and Etan Thomas look like studs in that series.

At least this year, we have a dominant defensive presence down low.

you're not counting Othella as crap? Wasn't Sweetney there, or did he come in the Curry trade?

I can't believe how long they are prolonging this freakin' series. Friday? Come on! There needs to be only one off day for games in the same city and maybe, MAYBE, two off days for travel days.

We also need to go back to a 5 game series in the first round, but we may never see that again.

Alright Bulls, lets sink this sinking ship quickly with a defeat of the wounded monster on Friday. (Something tells me this series wont end that quickly though)

Yeah, Sweetney came in the Curry trade.

Wowza! I watched the 2nd half of this game (God knows I didn't want to watch the freaking Cubs) and there was never really a time where I felt like the Heat were going to make a comeback. Even when they did make their run, it had a lot more to do with what the Bulls were doing wrong than what the Heat were doing right.

Deng is amazing. And Gordon was really making plays...some not so smart, but mostly were fantastic.

The Bulls cooled off what everyone, even Skiles, thought would be an inevitable Heat run. I have never seen a team win so soundly without having any real offensive paint presence. That will be their stumbling block on a night where they arent shooting good. The Bulls work hard, but their shots aren't easy ones like Shaq's are.

I'm not so sure of that. Overall they shot pretty poorly in Game 1 and still won pretty soundly. I think the Bulls are deep enough and good enough to win without a bigtime post up threat. Even if a couple guys are having an off night, we have players who can step in.
