My God, Skiles is an idiot. He takes out BG for Thabo instead of Kirk who is having a horrific game. Way to go, coach.

That no-foul call when Gordon shot was just embarassing for the refs.

 

Eh, I'm probably not going to agree with you on it. Yeah, BG isn't the best defender, but who knew a 3-point play was going to come out of it? I liked Thabo on Wade, but Wade was really burning Kirk towards the end of the game.

 

Gordon got abused on that no-foul crap. Have to say though, there were far less star calls today than I saw from last year's series. Hopefully that continues.

Kirk is easily the best guard/perimeter defender on the team (Thabo had a hell of a game though). Just look at that last Heat possession, Wade had an awful look thanks to Hinrich. The fouls caused Hinrich to play tentatively but by the end of the game, it didn't matter if he fouled out so he could play much better defense.

I quietly said to myself as the Heat came within 1 point in the closing minutes: "If the Bulls manage to lose this with a 9 point lead and 2:30 remaining I will not watch any more Bulls games teh rest of this postseason)

 

Luckily, (for them?) they didn't blow it.

 

Also that 3 play sequence where Tyrus Thomas blocked 2 shots and then dunked a ball was incredible.

Hope the Bulls win this. I don't really care one way or the other about the Bulls, though I do like some of their players, but I really don't like the Heat. They didn't deserve last year's title.

Good win, considering Hinrich had a nightmare game. Thabo's defense was a huge key.

 

Noc looks like he's not fit yet, despite his good game. He seemed to be a half step slow and a little less quick to the hoop.

 

I cannot stand Miami at all.

I dont like the Heat either, but Im not sure why they didnt deserve to win it last year. Sure a few calls went against the Mavs in the finals, but the Mavs choked it away and the Heat took advantage of it. So as far as Im concerned, the Heat did in fact deserve to win it.

The calls were absurd and the Heat didn't have that good of team. Sure, the Mavericks choked but no way Miami was the best team without the extra push from the officiating.

 

Edit: I'm a Pacer fan and could care less about the Mavs or Heat.

I hate Posey, Wade, and Payton with a passion. But I don't hate them more than the Cardinals. They are definitely the team I hate the most in the NBA though.

All around a poorly officiated game. Ticky tacks went both ways. The Heat will get more press because of their stars in foul trouble, but there were some horrible calls and no calls that went their way too. And there was maybe one questionable call on Shaq. It was not a one sided game in terms of officiating by any means.

Riley didn't really talk about the officiating at all, surprisingly.

 

But yes, the huge feet statement was pretty funny.
