It's pretty obvious Z's mechanics are all screwed up. It's the same thing that happened last year and it took Rothschild a month to figure it out.

I can't believe Rothschild still has a job.

I don't really think Rothschild is to blame for Z being a [expletive] headcase. Just sayin...

And one could argue that Dusty's overuse may have more to do with Z's start than anything Larry has done. If Lilly, Marquis and Hill are examples of what Larry is capable of, then bravo. Especially if Marquis can hold it together...even the great Dave Duncan couldn't keep that guy pitching well.

But he started the same way last year...

If Z's performance last year was Larry's fault...than what's the problem? Z ended up with a very good year last year.

The fact that it took Larry 5 weeks to figure out that Z's mechanics weren't right...

LOL...maybe it just took 5 weeks to get a headstrong Zambrano to actually do what he's telling him. If Zambrano is your case for Larry being a bad pitching coach, I don't think you have much of a case.

Just a lil NBA update.

The Cavs are up by 4 on the Bucks with 30 seconds to go in the third quarter. Lets hope the Bucks quit tanking this season, and make the Bulls game meaningless.

They'll need to, because in NJ it's the House of Suck for the Bulls.

He was bad last April, but he wasn't this bad.

2005 - 4.31

2006 - 5.35

As of this writing, he is at 8.10 so far this year.

I find it likely Z isn't all that committed in the offseason, which is what it takes to come out of the gates strong.

New guy needs to learn how to interrupt Ronny when he's babbling. I'd like to know what's going on in the game...

Oh, It was Jacque striking out. Nevermind.

I didn't say he was a bad coach, I just found it odd last year he stated that Z mechanics weren't right in May, when my friends and I thought it was obvious in April.

A song I wrote about Z:

Oh the mound is my world

stadium light painted bats

In the spring nothing matters

It's the summer that flatters

In the game no control

Through the dugout something breaking

Wearing blue as you're walking

Down the grass of my field

You take my fast you take my fastball control

You got me living only for the spring

Before the morning comes

Lou has yelled

You take my change you take my change-up control

Another start, another game goes by

I never stop myself to wonder why

You help me to forget to give us a win

You take my curve you take my curveball control...

I'll buy that.

Willy Ayebar was suspended for 3 games. It was suposed to be lifted today but he didn't show. Now, he's suspended indefinitely!

I haven't heard anything, what did he do?

Pardon my ignorance, but what is this all about?

Good to see Caesar get the BB.

But that doesn't mean that Larry didn't know that in April too. I think you're assuming a lot.

Hey Fred, do you have individual pitches per plate appearance stats? I'm wondering if Izturis is leading the team right now...
