it would be nice if the myth that great plays in the field led to offensive momentum was in any way valid.

I think momentum only exists when runs follow a play like that on ESPN and the announcers decide it exists in order to fill the air waves with more worthless drivel.

 

Or maybe it just exists with other teams. Definitely not on the northside.

Pie triples as I type. Maybe I need to spend more time ripping on the offense. (Of course, if that helped the offense, the Cubs would have scored 150 runs already this season.)
