Keeping track of the game thru CBS sportsline. And according to various "gloggers". Zambrano is an overrated ace. He's not near the Santana, Peavy, Halladay class of #1s. He's more like on the Kazmir level. "Is he good? Yes. An ace? No way." He's a mediocre fantasy starter and that's only if your league doesn't count WHIP and ERA.

This is fun.

Sad to say, but I tend to agree with the first part. He is a good fantasy pitcher for Ws and Ks though.

He was better than Peavy last year. Hell, he was better than every pitcher in the NL last year.

That's just not true. Oswalt, Carpenter, and Webb were all better than Z last year. There might be more but those three came to mind immediately.

It's all true. In an ideal world, Carlos is still the #3 pitcher on this team.

Z has ace stuff but he doesn't handle big games well. I think this is a big game. As I pointed out earlier, he's suppose to be the stopper. Plus, there's the injury crap that came out today...

I can't say that I trust him in a big game.

That's a great quality to have come playoff time, no?

Nice AB, Soriano.
