Sorry if this has been asked and answered already. So how does the rotation pan out now? Did we essentially just "skip" Hill? If so I think that sucks for us. Because he's almost as close to a guarantee'd win on this club, not to Zambrano. Maybe even more than big Z.

Hill wasn't completely skipped. They're just keeping Z on his usual 4-days rest at all times. Z Friday, Hill Saturday.

I think this is a good thing. When Z has too much rest it seems as if he is not as effective. His sinker seems to flatten out and he doesn't have as good control.

Off days suck

Two off days really suck.

Go Cubs.

Off days following a 2 game sweep on your opening home series, blows...big time.

Just one less day game most of us won't have to miss because of work. I don't mind it.

Leave it to Sox fan Sam Zell to cause doubt in the minds of Cubs fans. Checkout this WGN Sports clip :P

Zell on Z

So after seeing that clip I must ask, did Zell really make his bones on real estate or has he just always been wealthy thanks to his pot of gold?

LOL, I think he's distantly related to the Kiblers.

Just to let everybody know... The last time I went to a game (6/29/05) the Cubs won 2-3 on a walk-off single by Hollandsworth.. Then they lost 8 straight.

So get ready.

Do I win if Lou never gets ejected? (Never submitted an entry.)

No, if he doesn't get ejected at all this year I win-that's what I chose.

Yeah.. and that's probably the best bet.

It's the safest one. Not the best one. Mine's the best bet.
