Don't even say cancellation of games for KC and Tampa. I've been without my 1b, one of my outfielders and my best closer for the a whole series. Couple that in with a an outfielder with less than 10 at bats and a utility guy with maybe 5 at bats?

 

If I win this week, it will be a miracle.

Note: It would be nice if the Pitcher Starts Remaining on the scoreboard was accurate. I almost forgot how many starts I had this week, so I had to check my stats page.

I believe what it is showing is the number of starts remaining for all the pitchers on your roster, not how many you have remaining within the limit. It would be nice to have it the other way; I'd like to be able to see at a glance how many starts my opponent has remaining.

Yeah, he owns the Cubs, though. But I think they will get to him.

 

What sucks is I'm winning in all my other leagues, but this is the one I care about. And 2 of my other 3 are for money. I'm up big in both my head-to-heads and winning the roto.

i had to bench one of my three starters today, so benched smoltz (who pitched very well) and left sheets and myers out there (who both sucked).

 

We'll see. Logically, I benched Hill and Zito gets my 7th start of the week. He could clinch the week or allow your team a chance.

I'm 9th in hitting and 2nd in pitching. I anticipate dropping a bit on the pitching leaderboard today since I've already used all 7 of my starts.

My pen has been good, especially Jones. But -26 points from Contreras is difficult to overcome. If I had benched Contreras and started Vazquez , I would have 59 more points. That would change a bad week into a very good one.

I'm going to live or die on Halladay and Bonderman today, and they aren't looking all that good today.

 

And Halladay K's the side in the 5th. Glad I was able to light a fire under his butt.

yeah, zito really helped me out.

 

drew, teix and papelbon v. ortiz tonight will settle it.

Official scoring change charges Zito with 2 more ER. Buddiga has a 14.75 pt lead headed into tonight and without deducted all the TBA. Hopefully Papi drives in all the runs before Drew bats.

teixeira k's, but it was worth it to hear morgan bitching about the shift they have on him and how it tells the hitter there's no way they're going to throw him a fastball away. literally one second later, they zoom in on varitek calling for a fastball away that strikes him out.

HOLY [expletive]! I think I did it!

 

I was down 58 points coming into today. Santana gave up just a single and 1 TB. Santana gave up 10 total bases. But he had Heilman blow a game and give up 3 doubles for 6 total bases. I'm up almost 9 right now, so unless there is something else that comes out of the scoring tonight, it looks like I'm up about 4 points, with Kinsler playing.

You didn't beat me, Mother Nature did. If they actually played baseball in Cleveland Ichiro and Marte combined would have outproduced Sizemore enough to have given me the win.
