I went down a ton too. Negative points are apparantly more too. John Patterson put up a negative 10.25, I don't think I've ever had a player score that low.

Sadly I have you beat with Erik Bedard at a -11. Anyone have Contreras starting :-)?

Someone named Quakers...

-25.75 points for 1 plus innings of work!!!

Thank you Mr. Contreras!

Holy Crap! I guess the increased scoring is increased negative too. Any problems so far?

Over 100 points for me today, pending overnight pitching scoring. El Duque, Jennings, and Washburn combine for 19 IP, 4 ER, and probably 2 wins (Seattle is up 8-4 in the top of the 9th).

EDIT: I assumed Washburn would get the win, but Oakland tied the game after he left before Seattle rallied to win, so he won't. :(

Vlad is taking it to me so far tonight. Fortunately for me Eric Byrnes has come in with 10.75 points from the utility spot in 2 games.

That's why wins don't affect your score.

I'd forgotten that was one of the changes when the GameCenter showed wins as one of the stats.

So much for Sanchez. Washington does damage in the 6th, all with 2 outs in the inning.

Sanchez has 16 points, not bad.

Won't he lose some of them tonight?

Eric Byrnes is definitely doing his part

byrnes pulled a couple of good weeks out of his ass for me last year too.

At this point I'll definitely take it :D

I'm thrilled with my pitching.

3 starts so far, 22 innings, 3 quality starts, 7 ER, 16 K's. 1.00 WHIP

I'll take that every week, please!

If I had not started Contreras and Lowe and gone with no starters I would be in this game. My relievers and offense are doing fine.

Granderson had a nice day today:)

If you want to bench your starters for the rest of the week, I'll let you. :D

Meanwhile, I put Gomes in at Utility and Baldelli on the bench since Baldelli had a hamstring problem. Baldelli is playing in Gomes' place at DH and I'm getting nothing at Utility.

Can I switch these guys? Gomes has zero at bats so far this year.

Get a great game by Hamels only to be matched by Lilly. Can't complain about that though, since it's the Cubs.
Potentially we have a direct pitching matchup later this week, as Webb is scheduled to go against Patterson. I don't know if Arizona's rainout today will change that. I have a sizeable lead on you now, but I've also used five of myseven pitching starts for the week.

EDIT: I don't know why I thought Arizona was rained out; I was confusing that with Tampa Bay vs. Yankees.
