I thought it would be cool if we had an NSBB mock NFL draft. There are a lot of fans of different teams that are quite knowledgeable.

Anyway, here's what I propose. We'll do three rounds. That should be enough to get a decent picture of how things shake out. First come, first serve on picking the team you want to pick for. If the team, you want is chosen, you can pick another team if you think you know enough about their needs and wants to make an informed pick.

No trades. While we know some of those will happen on draft day, we'll keep all picks in the order they are now.

Also, when you make the pick, please include a short explanation of the pick and why the pick is the right one for your team.

You can request teams here or via pm. In this post, I keep up with who has claimed which team. Once all 32 teams are spoken for, we'll begin.

I'll create a place-holder for the draft results as we draft.

BTW, I'm claiming the Cowboys.

should I be what the Colts probably actually need, or should I be Bill Polian and draft a reciever/tight end when my defense needs help desperately and get highly criticized on draft day only to be proven right 4-5 years later?

I'll take the Colts-we'll see what happens.

If we can't fill all teams can we start to double up?

I'll take on another team if needed, preferably in the top 10 to avoid confict of interest with the Bears. :)

Or to facilitate a trade?

The Houstan Texans have traded their 1st round pick to the Chicago Bears for Dante Wesley. 8-)

Ill take the Lions.

Im fairly knowledgeable about them because most of my friends are lions fans and i hear them B&M all the time, its great fun. It should be easy selecting for them because they need a lot of help.
