I guess GB is committed to throwing the ball tonight-I know why considering the Minnesota run defense, but Favre is going to have a sore arm tomorrow. He has attempted 33 passes in the first half, and at least 2 more have been knocked out by defensive penalties (in addition, Holiday has attempted 1 pass). Dave Rayner is 2-4 in field goals at the half, and GB leads Minnesota 6-0 as a result.

That was a terrible game tonight, the only highlight was the Packer fans rejecting Smoot's leap after the INT TD.

That it was. We EASILY should've won by at least 3 TDs. Another game where we outgain the opponent heavily, in terms of total yardage, and we still barely win the game. We outgained Detroit by over 200 yards last week and only won by 8 and we outgained the Bills by almost 200 yards and still found a way to lose by 14. Regardless though, our D is improving as the season goes on. Aaron Kampman is becoming a stud and we're actually starting to get pressure on the QB now.

I'll take the W. We have a decent chance at finishing 8-8 as we will more than likely play against the Bears 2nd and 3rd stringers for about 3/4's of the game next Sunday. Hopefully the Giants, Falcons, and Rams lose on Sunday...

Favre, 49ers get it going just in time for victory

Thank you ESPN.com link writers for being morons.

HAHA...good luck with that. Weinke and his 17-game losing streak as a starter are starting again Sunday.

Which is why I'm thankful that the Falcons only have to lose one of their remaining two :)

If that's Favre's last home game then he went out with a fizzle.

Terrible, terrible football game. Nearly unwatchable.

NFL Network's broadcast is the worst I've ever seen. It's worse than the lowest-grade CBS or FOX team. You know, the team they send to cover those Cardinals/49ers barnburners.

And NFL network isn't even offering a simulcast to the home market. What a joke. I actually felt sorry for Packer fans last night, especially when Favre waved at the crowd at the end. To miss that moment after all these years because of the NFL Network? What a disgrace.

I spent most of yesterday afternoon at work helping my manager find out how his Steelers could make the playoffs. It was so complicated that he had to print it out for the games this weekend.

Someone's trying hard for his end of the year bonus...

I don't know what Oakland's record is ATS, but they have to be a cash machine this year. Just bet against them and win. Also, they're a jackpot for fantasy football defense purposes. I played the mediocre Chiefs defense in one of my leagues and piled up a solid 18 points.

picked GB and KC in the early games...

CLEVELAND (-3) over Tampa

Tennessee (+4.5) over BUFFALO

New Orleans (+3) over NY GIANTS

Baltimore (+3.5) over PITTSBURGH

SAN FRANCISCO (-4) over Arizona

Truffle, according to the ESPN.com schedule Oakland is 6-9 ATS this year so not as bad as you (or I for that matter) thought.

Drew Brees is sucking it up so far. 2/7, only 11 yards. Great time to pick a game to suck, Drew. A missed FG keeps the Giants lead at 7-3.

Carolina leads Atlanta 7-3 and Washington leads the Rams 7-0.

Carney makes a FG to make it 7-6 Giants, early in the 2nd.

Carolina still leads Atlanta 7-3 and Washington just blocked a punt and two plays later, Ladell Betts runs it in for 6 to tie the Rams at 14.

Way to watch the game ... Brees has been fine, but theres been somthing like 5 or 6 drops.

PS: The Giants suck!

NFL.com for you. I'm stuck with the meaningless Bears-Lions game.
