They already said he was fine, there's no need to act all high and mighty and get on his case. The people flipping out need to get over themselves.

The man is working himself to the bone, at least we know he's really trying his hardest. I do hope he's ok, its hard to work trades from the hospital.

I'm not fighting anyone. If I was, Hendry wouldnt be the only one at the hospital :x

Dude, no, I was going to inject heroin into my forehead on YOUR doorstep, not the other way around.

Just proves to show being a GM isnt an easy job. We all make topics saying "Why doesnt Hendry do this" but it is harder than it sounds. Stressful as hell I'm sure. Hope he's okay.

Levine said that hendry was admitted to a local hospital overnight for observation and that it didn't seem like anything too serious like a heart attack or something. I missed the first part because I was listening to wgn and switched over to espn1000, but it sounded like someone took hendry to the hospital, he didn't collapse or anything. levine said he looked sick and said that he felt lousy and that hendry never says anything like that.

Levine also said hendry has been working around the clock and not sleeping and living off coffee so it might be a combination of exhaustion and dehydration or something like that. early word is that hendry should be released tomorrow morning and they think he'll be back in time for the rule 5 draft. I hope they don't rush it or anything.

Man may be bad at his job, but you can't knock him for not caring or not trying. Get well Jim...

CBS Sportsline[/url]"] "He was hooked up to an EKG machine when we got it done," said Larry O'Brien, Lilly's agent, who added that the hospital tests had come back fine and that Hendry was OK.

According to O'Brien, Hendry was dining with manager Lou Piniella when he suddenly felt ill.

"I think Lou drove him to the hospital," O'Brien said.

It was, to say the least, a highly unusual way to finish a deal.

"I haven't done one like that, and I don't know if Jim has, either," O'Brien said. "He's fine. I think he might have had indigestion."

Good or bad, Hendry takes his job seriously.
