Even though he was with Texas his home/away splits are basically the same with the SLG a bit higher on the road. He is on the wrong side of 30 though. We'll see, it depends on how much the deal is for.

Interesting I suppose. If he's turned the corner late, he might be one of the better offensive second basemen in the league. If not, he might not be worth much.

How much? And why? 3/6 (2m per) and maybe this is justified. But he doesn't help the offense.

 

If next year's middle infield is Izturis and DeRosa, the outfield better get much better.

I don't doubt it, Hendry has shown interest in DeRosa before Aramis re-signed.

 

Meh. I was hoping for Durham or Loretta for 2B (I figured the Cubs weren't interested in Iwamura). I'll hold of judgement till I hear the financial details.

Ok so what would be the big difference between him at 2nd and Theriot, dont they both have similar numbers all across the board?? average,OBP,his SLG might be alittle higher, not sure, but the RBI and HR's would look pretty similar
