let's hope wright state can hold on to a 1 point lead with 11.6 seconds left

You like Wright State? Or do you just not want a bubble team to get in?

It 's over now-2 bids for the Horizon League apparently.

ALANDO TUCKER IS BIG TEN PLAYER OF THE YEAR!!!!!! NOW ON TO THE NAISMITH!!!

NPOY should be Durant, no questions asked.

No doubt.

Can I say Tucker should be NPOY over durant, if you all recognize that I am a die hard badger basketball fan? But..... if the Badgers, without Butch still go to the final four, and texas doesnt, I think Tucker should get it. right now though.... Durant is.... amazing doesnt cover it.

Well that wasn't good for business.

Re: Lunardi, he had Wright St. in because in his conference champion projections he gives the auto bid to whoever is in 1st in the conference, Wright St. had no chance as an at large.

I know that. Just trying to make all you fans of bubble teams feel better.

Wow.

One more reason to be glad Olver Miller no longer plays college hoops. Those unis are not fat guy friendly.

Wow.

I remember a few teams in the 2002 World Cup had tight jerseys (Italy for sure and one of the African teams though there were probably a couple more) to prevent their opponents from grabbing the jersey. But those didn't look anywhere near as bad as these do.

and to make it easy for the ref to spot. They looked decent in soccer, but those are awful. Bryant Reeves also comes to mind in not wanting those jerseys to ever see the light of day.

You can, I just don't think you have much of an arguement. The freshman has put up better numbers than the 5th year senior leading a team starting 4 true freshman and 1 sophmore.

I, for one, am glad that Wright State won. I like having more mid major schools in the big dance.

Well you are in the minority then. Last year while everyone said they were gushy about George Mason, it didn't translate to ratings.

In a poll about who is the college basketball player of the year on ESPN.com, Kevin Durant is winning all but 4 states. One of the states he is not winning? Texas.

stupid aggie voters trying to overload it.

so let's assume Durant and Oden stay in college next year. What does that do to the NBA draft? Who is out there that a lottery team would really want? Is the forward from Nevada an NBA hopeful? I read that he won conference POY for the 3rd straight time

I would be so happy :-). Not to mention their teams would be #1 and #2 preseason IMO.

Do the players know what the draft order is before they have to declare?

I don't think he is. I think he is a hanger on at the next level. I don't know who the big names would be though as you never know which foreign guys will go. I also like Thaddeus Young and Brendan Wright.

was i imagining things or was wright state playing on their home floor? if so, well that sucks for butler and maybe illinois.

We win two games and it doesn't matter. We win only 1 and we sweat. We don't win any and we better decline the NIT bid. Lunardi didn't have as a bubble big ten team on Sportscenter the other day. He had us as an in. Time will tell.

This season has been a nightmare, Weber needs the head start to recruit the '08 guys. I would just as well get it over with. Plus the NIT should be unacceptable for our program considering where we were the past 5-10 years.

Yeah, the Horizon league hosts their tournament at the site of their conference champ-Wright State got that honor due to a tiebreaker. It encourages more attendance at these games where if mid-majors tried to find a neutral site to play they might not sell out.

acceptable or not, I think it's crap to deny your kids (especially the seniors) more opportunities to play, especially if you get a home game or two.
