If Bobby Knight shoved a player like Sampson and Alford did, it would lead Sportscenter. Hell, it did. Let's see what kind of coverage Sampson and Alford get.

Gotta get DJ White more involved this half.

Whistles on every possession is really bogging down the Indiana-Iowa game on both sides. It's 37-37 at halftime.

Silly watch: Iowa crowd starts chanting Airball, Airball after the IU player is short on his attempt from 3/4 court as time expires in the half :D

The refs sure didn't put the whistles away at halftime. This is excessive.

This reminds me of the two games at the beginning of the season (the preseason NIT games)-one touch and its a foul.

4 fouls on DJ White with 12 minutes left. Iowa up 1. If IU wins it will have to be on the 3 point shot. Hopefully Wilmont and Ratliff can get hot.

The last 4 minutes of the IU-Iowa game could take an hour.

Doesn't look good for the Hoosiers, down 6 with 45 seconds left. Too many blown chances today.

Edit - 52 Fouls so far!

I hate you Mizzou basketball.

No kidding. Can't expect to win many games when the other team is getting 2, 3, sometimes 4 chances at making a basket because of offensive boards, and we're going 1 and done because we can't freaking rebound.

Of course, nothing was worse than those refs. Absolutely terrible. Probably the worst officiated game I've seen in person.

Damn. Iowa did a great job at the line to win this one. Seems like they didn't miss down the stretch. I figured it would be a tough one. The refs were very bad, but very bad both ways. I wish they would have let the teams play a little bit. Oh well, regroup and beat the Illini next Saturday.

HUGE win for SIU today as the Salukis took down Wichita State, 54-46. Randal Falker battled the stomach flu, but still had 13 and 8, including two big FT's in the final minute which iced the game.

19-5 overall, 10-3 in the conference. We went 2-0 this week, so hopefully a top 25 ranking will head our way on Monday.

Yes they were bad both ways, why are awful refs allowed to be doing games like these. Great win for the Hawkeyes. I thought they were going to blow it.

Wichita's bubble may have burst with that one. Winning out and a run to the MVC title game would probably put them firmly back in, but that's asking a lot, especially with a road trip to Creighton mixed in.

The Valley's depth is probably going to wind up hurting them come Selection Sunday, and I don't see them with more than 3 teams going now, with 2 a very likely possibility.

Illinois has a chance to win back to back games for the first time in a long time tonight.

Good game in SoCal as USC leads Oregon 45-43 with much of the 2nd half still to play. Oregon needs a win here after losing to UCLA the other day.

Pac-10 should get 6 in the tourney this year and potentially 7 depending on how the year finishes up.

I'm listening to Holy Cross-Lafayette... who's with me???

You aren't at the game? What sort of fan are you.

Between working last night and tonight, plus the seven hour commute each way to Worcester, I don't think it would've worked out to be in attendance. Plus the game wasn't even competitive... HC was up 17 at the half and 18 right now, though it was 27 at one point before the scrubs went in.

Aaron Brooks had a very good, wide open look at a 3 at the buzzer but missed it and Oregon lost to USC 71-68. The Ducks were swept in their trip to SoCal and were swept by USC for the year.

SIU and Creighton should be locks. Missouri State should also be considered pretty close to a lock.

But unfortunately, you're probably right that the Valley will only get 3 bids. But we do have a chance to have our highest seeding in a tournament ever this season and that's really all I care about. If we can win the regular season title, win the tournament, and win our game against Butler, we could be a 4 seed come March.

Great job by Iowa! Glad to see them take down Indiana.

Big win by OSU. Winning at MSU really puts them in the driver seat for the Big 10. With the Badgers winning today, its really going to make the last three games of the season for them big.

IMO, Wisconsin @ OSU will be for the Big Ten title (outright or for a share). Go Bucky!
