Cleveland up 14 now, but Orlando has regained the lead on Washington.

I believe if the Wizards lose, they'll need to win in Indianapolis tomorrow night in order to avoid the 6th spot tiebreaker loss to the Nets once the Bulls whip them.

Bulls going to have to earn that 2 seed, just as it should be.

50 wins should have been motivation enough, now it's the right to play NJ/Washington/Orlando in the first round instead of Miami.

What happens if the Wizards, Nets and Magic end up tied at 40-42? The first tie breaker is best head-to-head record among the three teams.

Nets win first tie break with 6-2 record versus Magic and Wizards.

Magic would win head to head tiebreaker with Wizards with a 9-7 div record versus 8-8 for Wizards. So a 3-way tie would result in:

6. Nets

7. Magic

8. Wizards

The Magic have Miami at home tomorrow night.

Yeah, the same Heat team with nothing to play for that just lost to the Celtics in Miami last night.

And with one injury already (is there an update on Posey?), they probably won't push it at all.

Im pretty anxious about tonights game. Hopefully the Bulls take care of business like they have been lately. Get up early and roll to victory.

This is going to be a tough game. They are playing a playoff team on the road, and I'm sure the Nets would like to get to .500. But I'm not sure how much incentive NJ actually has. I'd say they really want to stay out of the #8 spot, because then they have go into the bracket with Miami, Detroit, Cleveland/Chicago, but they've already clinched the #7 at least because they have the tiebreaker over Orlando. The game is really huge for the Bulls. The #7- maybe Washington minus Arenas, then Toronto, then Miami/Cleveland/Detroit. It would be the easiest road to the finals possible.

This is a vitally important game. Getting the Bulls' three top contenders on the other side of the East bracket at the same time would be absolutely tremendous. Moreover, if Washington loses, the Bulls can waltz into the 2nd round without even trying.

I think the Bulls get it done tonight.

If Orlando wins tonight and Washington loses, Orlando is the 7th seed. Only way Washington gets the 7 seed is by losing with Orlando losing.

Only way New Jersey gets the 7 seed, however, is by losing with Washington winning.

I'm not overly concerned about any of the 3 teams, though. Much more concerned about a potential Miami series.

This game doesn't appear anywhere on my TV schedule. Not even on the NBA package channels.

Is it a local TV only deal?

ESPN.

I'm not really worried about this game. New Jersey may be 9 of their last 12, but they only beat Charlotte, Indiana, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Washington, and New York. And most of those games were close.

I predict Bulls by 17.

Thanks, I hadn't studied up on the tiebreaking scenarios.

I'm disagreeing with you on the bold, though. Orlando scares me - Howard owns us.

Hmmm.....thought I looked at ESPN and they were doing a different game.

That will be great, Bulls in HD tonight!
