Playoff tickets for the first two rounds go on sale April 7 at 10 AM.

This is very important information.

CHEAP SEATS!

Do they have $10 seats for the playoffs, as well?

The Bulls pull away late and take it 100-89.

Thursday's big game against Detroit will be on CSNC/TNT.

I think they were 12 last year. Though, they'll probably sell out in less than 4 minutes.

I'm gonna try and get four, though.

In previous years, they up the prices for the $10 tickets to $12 for the first round and $14 for the second.

I'm going to try to get some second round tickets this year because I'll be home then.

As for tonight, good win. Really good second half for the Bulls. Too bad the Pistons lucked one out tonight or we'd only be 3 games behind them. Now only 1 behind the Cavs for the 2nd position in the East.

Let me add that I love the Knicks tanking this past week. Keeps me optimistic about our potential draft choice and FOUR MORE YEARS of the Isiah regime.

Maybe we can swing a deal for David Lee :D

Never a doubt in my mind. They'll lose their next 3 too.

I really hope they can fall to around the 7th pick range. That would be fine by me.

Plus being in the 7th spot really increases our odds for a chance to fall into the top 3 and get a stud

Playing much better now. Skiles' tactic of giving extra rest late in the season seems to be really paying off.

I loved the way Deng played last night. And Gordon's game-winner the night before.

This is more like it. Now we've got some tougher games coming up. It will be a good test. My guess is the Bulls give the Cavs & Pistons all they can handle, because this Bulls team seems to play its best against the better teams.

Even if the Bulls don't get into the top 3, I think all the quality big men will be gone by 7-8 (outside of Hibbert).

Spencer Hawes will not be gone at 7.

Oden

Durant

Brandan Wright

Al Horford

Joakim Noah

Jeff Green

Spencer Hawes

If we're in the 9-11 range, we'd be a little worse off.

A lot depends on who declares. Ford reports that Oden and Conley are leaning toward declaring for this year's draft even though a lot of reports have them out.

Today, ESPN's mock has the Bulls selecting Yi Jianlian with the 9th pick more often than not. I could live with that.

I've heard from someone (who doesn't have direct contact with Spencer but does have some information - so take it with a grain of salt) that Spencer is leaning towards returning for one more season but hasn't decided.

Oh, and I'd love Hawes if the Bulls could get him. He'd take a few years to develop, but he'l lbe great down the line.

Of course, all of this could be irrelevant if we strike gold like the Raptors did last year and win the lottery

I read that Pat Riley wants to change the draft lottery so that ALL the teams in the league get a shot at the #1 pick. This, of course, is completely nonsensical and belies the entire point of the lottery

The concern appears to be teams deliberately throwing games at the end of the season.

I don't understand why the current system doesn't already mitigate against this. Sure, it isn't perfect. But you conceivably throw a whole bunch of games and still not wind up with the top pick.

Seems like opening up the lottery to every team would just make things worse. People would be quite angry if Phoenix, Detroit, and Dallas drafted first after competing for a title the year before.

Are you sure it was Riley? I had heard Jeff Van Gundy had said that if the NBA really wants teams to not "tank" at the end of the season, that they should let everybody in the lottery. I hadnt heard about Riley though. Either or, its a pretty stupid idea. Here you go NBA Champs, heres the number 1 pick in the draft...noway.

I was just doing the lottery thing on ESPN and the bulls won the first pick!!! you never know, it could happen.

I hit that buttom at least 300 times a few weeks ago, never pulled in a top three.

If the Knicks keep tanking, they could realistically fall into the sixth worst record which would net the Bulls at worst 9th (highly unlikely) and a 5.3% chance at winning a lottery spot. Keep tanking Zeke!!!!

ETA I hit a Bulls winner and we would take Greg Oden.

GO ANY TEAM PLAYING THE KNICKS!

Knicks' losing streak has improved the odds.

Oh well. A Cavs loss is probably better than a Knicks loss at this point. Bulls one game back of the 2 seed, and it's one game back in the loss column.

Yeah. Although the Knicks get to get killed at Dallas on Friday and hopefully at New Orleans on Saturday, so if they were gonna win a game, might as well be against the Cavs.
