I'm sick and damn tired of this. Quit giving the ball to Kirk Hinrich in clutch situations. Ever. Just stop it. Hell, take him out and have BG run the point.

FIRE SKILES!

Let's see. Take the last 4 losses for example. All games where we had a lead of greater than 12 points, but in the 2nd half, the opposing team makes adjustments, we fail to make adjustments, and they come back and win. How many games have we won in the last two minutes this season? How many have we lost? One of the most important aspects of being a basketball coach is managing the final two minutes. Skiles is horrible at doing that.

Whatever, I'm not going to get in an argument about it. I've shifted my stance from a complete 360. Maybe sulley is right. Do you really believe that Skiles is the coach to lead us to the promised land?

I never believed Skiles was a coach who could lead the Bulls to the promised land - not with his personality vs. the types of players needed for a championship run.

The most aggravating thing for me has always been Skiles piss poor subsitutions and rotations. Gordon not starting and Duhon getting so much playing time are the most egregious example.

Exactly.

How can you have a guy like Khryapa who hasn't played in several games get close to 20 minutes tonight? How can guys like Tyrus, Thabo, and Sweetney not even play? His substitutions are maddening and most of the time, they make no sense.

The whole deal of benching Gordon and starting Duhon is absurd. Duhon is a good defender, but he doesn't do anything on offense. And when he starts, it moves Hinrich to the 2 where he is not comfortable at all. If Gordon starts, not only would it help us on offense, but it brings Kirk back to his natural position.

I think it's reached the point of just being defiant. "Oh yeah, you think Gordon should start? Well guess what. You're not the coach, I am!"

"You think Gordon should get the ball late in the game when he's 5/6 from 3 for the game and is the only person on the team who can on a regular basis create his own shot? BAH to you! I'm giving it to my man Kirk!"

I don't think any coach can win a title with this team. We need a dominant inside scorer. Is Skiles the best? I don't think so, but we could do worse.

But the whole Duhon starting over Gordon thing, yeah that's just crap.

It sure looked like the plan was for Hinrich to bring it up and get it to Gordon but couldn't when Kidd stripped the ball and had to get up that desperation shot himself.

IMO, the problem on this team isn't Skiles, it's the lack of height and inside scoring. And that's not going to change any time soon.

Looks like one and done again to me. No significant improvement over last year. Yeah we signed Wallace----and lost our only 7' ballplayer in the process. I don't care how good a defender people think Wallace is; against some teams we're just going to suck because they can play further off the ground than we can reach. Period.

Looks like Ben Wallace is goin to miss tonights game too, and I think I heard Malik Allen as well. This is the rumored starting lineup:

C PJ Brown

F Tyrus Thomas

F Luol Deng

G Ben Gordon

G Kirk Hinrich

That's right, Skiles might have finally benched Duhon

That is in fact the correct lineup. First career start for TT and - FINALLY - Skiles puts BG back where he belongs.

What a disaster that lineup has been so far. They only lead 37-21 after a quarter.

Ben Gordon obviously should be a career 6th man. He gets a start and only has 15 points so far.

I agree he should start, but to be fair Memphis is freaking awful.
