Funny quote from cbssportsline.

This Chicago defense has a club in one hand, a rock in the other, and proceeds to beat you over the head with each, stopping on occasion to laugh at your bloodied, distorted corpse.

This is something I would say, uh, about 3 hours into a tailgate.

I predicted tonight's game to be close, but ultimately heart-breaking for Bears fans, sooo...

Bills 24

Bears 20

I don't see how can you predict that Buffalo will score 24 points on the road against the Bears defense.

THis team is on a mission. Much like the '84 playoff loss against the 49ers lit a fire under the Bears, the playoff loss to the Panthers last year seems to have done the same to this team. I don't see them letting down at all.

Bears 27

A couple of Bears/Bills pictures. Again, not a lot available online since these teams do not play all that often.

The Bears just barely squeaked by Minnesota. Road games are always tough. As good as the Bears have looked so far this year, it's a bit too early to talk 16-0.

But, no way does Buffalo come into Chicago and put up more points. 5-0 is NOT too early to discuss.

Here's how: I made a similar prediction for the Seattle game, and we saw how that turned out. I'm just sticking with what works.

Also, I had a really bad dream about the Bears last night, but they were playing the Chiefs, so hopefully that means that it wasn't an omen.

I fear after 3 division games and 1 primetime game against the reigning NFC champion, the Bears are going to come out flat against Buffalo. They'll fall behind early on a turnover TD and a FG, and then have to scramble to win in the second half.

I've had similar cautious sentiments all season. And now the Bears are giving 11, and the line is holding steady. I believe the Vikings game was the come out flat game, and I really expect Lovie and the coaches to prevent that this time. But I don't see them dominating like they have in 3 of the first 4 games.

Honestly, assuming they avoid coming out flat, I don't see how they won't dominate this game. Buffalo's o-line has holes (Hell, they have Mike Gandy starting) and our front four is going to be in Losman's face all day.

I see a very dominant day defensively leading to many opportunities to score for the offense.

Good move, I think you're going to be closest.

I agree with this. Bills have given up 11 sacks to lesser pass rushing teams this year. I think Losman goes down 4-5 times. I love the matchups of the Bears DBs on the Bills WRs. I think the Bears will put 8 men in the box a bunch to stop McGahee. And rely on Tillman and Vasher to stop Evans and Reed, which are good 1-on-1 matchups for the Bears.

I think Buffalo is a lot like Seattle defensively. Front-4, just ok....back 7 is the strength. I'm not saying the Bears will score 37 again, but I expect the running game to take another step in the right direction and the Bears to play more ball control this week.

Actually, I think they can dominate the game, I just don't see them winning by 30. I think a 17-7 game is a little more likely. Losman will get beat up, but Willis will gain some yards.

In that case I will not ever question your predictions again.

True or False: Tommy Harris is the best defensive player in the NFL right now

True.

Shawne Merriman has to be in the conversation though.

I haven't followed the rest of the league at all, but that doesn't mean that I'm biased when I say true.
