With the amount of money the Bears are giving Urlacher, they are getting a great deal. Yeah I know he can be replaced, but he is sure important. He shouldn't get Urlacher money, but pretty close.

It's really hard to say goodbye to Briggs but I agree. Likable guy and anchor to the D, but we can't be paying 2 of our linebackers the type of money that we're paying Urlacher. Angelo has been pretty good getting LBs in the draft and I have no doubt he can find another one this offseason.

About 15 minutes until I leave.

It looks like it's going to warm up a little slower than previously thought, but it'll still hit 70 sometime in the 2nd half.

Buffalo wins 17-13. The Curse of Dick Jauron.

Grossman struggles, throws 2 picks, and the passing game hits a major snag.

McGahee runs for over 100, and the Bear turnovers create a short field for Losman, and they score 10 pts off turnovers. They control the ball and play the field position game for the 2nd half, and a late TD drive by the Bears comes up short.

On the Briggs conversation, I remember a few years back when we were all worried about losing Warrick Holdman and Rosie Colvin, and they proved to be very replaceable. Briggs is very good, and my preference is to keep him. But I'm not going to lose a whole lot of sleep over it if it gets too rich.

Also, my prediction, Bears 27 Bills 6.

Reverse jinxing the Bears in the worst way possible would have them winning by less than 10 points. Not even a jinx would believe anything less.

EDIT: Talking about against the 49ers

The Bears get caught in traffic, miss the game and have to forfeit.

Jealous of a state that builds the finest system of intraurban highways known to mankind, then for 50 years running, refuses to educate it's citizens on how to drive on such highways ???

Certainly not !!
