The ref should have blown the whistle at :05, not at :02.

Then they shouldn't have given Washington enough time to figure out a play.

Awful job by the refs.

And then Washington's center should have snapped the ball right away. What a dolt, does he not know there are :02 left and the clock will start running right away?

Tough for Washington...USC is not worthy of their #3 ranking.

SIU won their homecoming game over Western Illinois, 31-24. Besides our defense having the worst game of the season, our offense once again was very solid and worthy of the title of being a top 2 offense in I-AA. Our offense basically moved the ball every possession..not one 3 and out for our offense.

The I-AA game of the year could be next week in Normal when SIU travels to Illinois State. Pretty pumped up about that :D

Gotta stop the bleeding. It was 24-0, now it's 24-10. No more turnovers. This is the biggest game of the season. Win, we're 6-0, and we finally gain some respect. Lose, and everyone says "they didn't beat anybody" and we are out of the top 25. Time to show everyone what this team is made of.

That game on the Friday after Thanksgiving is going to be one hellova match-up, especially if LSU wins out until then.

It ALWAYS is. I can't remember the last time the game was decided by more than a touchdown, if ever.

Oh, and McFadden and Jones are beasts. 553 in 5 games while recovering from a dislocated toe ain't bad, especially when splitting duties with Jones, who just has 364 in that same 5 games.

Look for the Hogs to throw a lot the next three games. Nutt will likely want to get Mustain more passing reps against lesser competition to get him geared up for the last four game stretch when he may be needed to make plays (at South Carolina, Tennessee, at Mississippi State, LSU).

With LSU getting its second conference loss today, Arkansas is seriously in the driver's seat--a game ahead of Auburn, whom they just beat, and two games up on LSU and Alabama, the next closest competitors.

Things just got really interesting.

Daniel needs to stop underthrowing the deep ball. That's how he has almost all of his picks this year. I'll definitely take a 10 point advantage at half, and I still have confidence in the offense to move the ball. Need to get a stop out of halftime though to reassert control.

I have full confidence in this team, and we are in great shape to win this game. However, the swing of momentum has been huge in the last half of the second quarter. We gotta go out there, get a big stop, then score. This game is ours if we want it.

Nobody on Washington knew that the clock was going to start. They had about 20 seconds to get ready for the snap, and yet the entire offensive line was still standing when the official signaled for the clock to start. Talk about stupid.

Even worse than having about 15 seconds after a first down to get a play (which they should already have had considering that they were just one snap removed from a timeout), yet the spiked the ball near midfield.
