Pro.. Since a lot of it is meant for entertainment. Especially in the NBA where they travel like hell. But College is pretty fun to watch.

College Basketball > NBA

NFL > College Football

and obviously

MLB > College Baseball

College easily.

College football >> NFL

College basketball >>> NBA

MLB >>> college baseball

Tough call... MLB is much better than college baseball, but college basketball is way better than the NBA. College and pro football are both awesome... so I still haven't decided how to vote. Guess I have to figure out whether I like the NFL or college football better, and that will be the kicker.

The only two sports I really even watch anymore are Football and Baseball. I used to watch the NBA, but not anymore. Never got into college hoops.

So for me;

MLB>>>>>>>College baseball

NFL>>>>>College Football

I dont know why, maybe because there are just so many darn teams in college sports that it's impossible for me to follow any of it outside of the induvidual games.

College FB>>>>> >>>>> >>>>> >>>>NFL (I like the NFL, don't get me wrong, but I LOVE college football.)

College BB>>> >>>> >>>NBA

The Bears and the Cubs are the only reasons I follow baseball and football the way I do, otherwise I'd be much more casual following sports, so I had to vote pro. I guess college football games can be more exciting, I just never got into it, partly because of so many teams, and partly because I don't really have a favorite team to begin with.

College. There's just something about the college atmosphere (especially basketball and football) that tops the pro game.

Bingo. I have the same exact feelings.

See I never understood that at all. I mean, I go to U of I, but I just can't seem to take college sports seriously. I mean, all these people that have never even seen the University of Illinois rooting for my football or basketball team? What gives?

I think pro is better than college in every sport.

It's more for the students involvement than anything. And all the rituals that go along with college sports like, since it was discussed here recently, Penn State's white out. Or yesterday for the Iowa-OSU game they showed a wide view of the stadium and it was a huge sea of yellow. You don't get that in the pro game.

In college you get small schools (like UC Davis) playing major conference schools (like Stanford) and when the small school actually pulls the upset, it's unbelievable how the players and students/fans react.

MAYBE if College Football had a playoff system, I would vote for college sports. The BCS kills it for me.

I went with Pro sports. MLB is my favorite, and the college game doesn't even compare. The NFL and college football are both close, but I give the nod to the NFL. College basketball is better than the NBA, but I don't watch enough of either for it to matter to me.

The only pro sport I follow at all is baseball, though I will watch the occasional NHL playoff game. I don't follow college sports all that clesely, either, but I at least watch them with semi-interest every once in a while. It's probably been five years since I watched an NFL or NBA game.

The thing about college sports that makes it so fun is the fanbases.

When you're an alumnus of a college, you have a connection to your team that's so much stronger and different than a simple geographic one.

College Basketball has the greatest playoff system in the history of the universe. I grew up on college football (having lived <1 mile from Beaver Stadium). I gave it to college.

The NFL is better than college football because there is more parity. In college football its basically the same 4-8 schools every year competing for the national championship.

Three years ago the Bears and Bengals were among the 2 worst teams in football, now they could potentially face each other in the Superbowl.

Moreso than parity, I think it's turnover. I hate seeing the same teams over and over in the playoffs. It's dull. The NFL usually has some 12/13 win teams, and some 2/3/4 win teams. Yes, there are a good about of 7/8/9 win teams, but it's not hard to draw a distinction between the great and the crappy. People try and say there are no great teams anymore, but that's bogus, there just aren't teams that can stockpile all the talent on their team for years at a time and remain great forever.

College Football has issues. Quarterbacking generally sucks. Good teams fill their schedules with teams they can beat 60 to nothing. Each good team has about 3-4 good games a year and 9 30-50 point blowouts. Let's look at Texas last year:

September 3 Louisiana-Lafayette W 60-3

September 10 at No. 4 Ohio State W 25-22

September 17 Rice W 51-10

October 1 at Missouri W 51-20

October 8 Oklahoma W 45-12

October 15 No. 24 Colorado W 42-17

October 22 No. 10 Texas Tech W 52-17

October 29 at Oklahoma State W 47-28

November 5 at Baylor W 62-0

November 12 Kansas W 66-14

November 25 at Texas A&M W 40-29

December 3 at Colorado W 70-3

January 4 vs No. 2 USC W 41-38

How exciting! Not to mention, you lose one game and your season basically loses all meaning. Anything but a BCS bowl is pretty much worthless. Wisconsin won the Capital One Bowl last year, does anyone care? No.

I do like college football, don't get me wrong, but on the whole, it isn't even close to as entertaining as the NFL.
