I recall Brad Smith getting rocked a few times late last year (Iowa State maybe?) without much of a call. It's a reputation thing. Was it helmet to helmet? Technically, yes. But I don't believe other less reputable players or teams get that call.

Troy Smith looked phenominal. 2 years ago he was a scrambling qb, yesterday he was a decisive, accurate pocket passer.

 

Tennessee with the first major ass kicking of the year.

Michigan with 5 sacks, maybe the defensive changes are working. Definetly more pressure on the qb than all of last year ex-nebraska.

Chan Galey is a terrible coach, Charlie Weiss is not.

 

So close but yet so far. And that was a terrible call on the spearing, but it probably had nothing to do with the outcome of the game.

You have to be kidding me that Musberger hates Notre Dame. He spent the entire first half talking about how Georgia Tech better put up more points, because Notre Dame would come out of its funk in a big way soon. No credit to the tech defense whatsoever.

Ainge, the O-line, and the young front seven were the biggest questions for us this season and none could have answered better in my opinion! 2-0 after Air Force and then we host Florida. We go 3-0, the SEC better start fearing us again. :D

The crazy part about it, to me, is that I think Charley Weis is going to make them a power. His recruiting is off the charts, he's an excellent game-planner, and a good game coach. Its just absurd that they are putting the cart way before the horse. How about we wait until he makes them great, THEN the national media can fawn all over them.
