Yes, I'm sure the reason Cedeno didn't throw the ball was because he was protecting himself from another error. Not the fact that Miles was 2 steps away when he was getting ready to throw it.

All I can say is that if Jim truly intends on Ronny playing 2B next year (ugh) he better make sure he plays every inning of every game in a winter league at 2B.
