Portsmouth 2-1 Manchester Utd

Chelsea 1-0 Tottenham

Its all very, very interesting.

Oh yeah. Man U is up 3 points on Chelsea with 6 league games to go - one of which is a matchup between the two at Stamford Bridge in each team's second to last game of the year.

Man U has: Sheff Utd (18th), Middlesbrough (12th), at Everton (6th), at Man City (14th), West Ham (19th)

Chelsea has: at West Ham (19th), at Newcastle (10th), Bolton (5th), at Arsenal (4th), Everton (6th).

Based on this, I have to think that Man U has the advantage. The Chelsea at Arsenal is just 3 days before the Chelsea-Man U match and is going to be good. Arsenal is currently in 4th place and only 2 points ahead of Bolton for that. And 4th/5th is the difference between Champions League and the UEFA Cup. It's going to be good coming down the stretch here.

Pretty cool US youtube video. I love watching Onyewu staring down at Borgetti.

That was stellar. Is it 2010 yet?

Here's another one. Meh on the music choices but the video is good. They do show a couple of Mexico goals but most of it is US centered. WARNING: Music not work safe.

Someday we're going to beat Mexico in Mexico City and it will be glorious. The amount of hatred I have for their soccer team is unbelievable.

Related to the US national team, does anybody know where I can find full videos of some of their 2002 World Cup games - well, just the Portugal and Mexico matches?

Thank you much.

EDIT: That site has a ton of everything on there. I found all of the 2002 US World Cup matches there.

Here is the homepage for those interested.

For those interested, here is the television schedule for Champions League on Tuesday and Wednesday:

Tuesday

11:30 - Manchester United vs Roma, ESPN2 (1st Leg: 2-1 Roma in Italy)

2:00 - Valencia vs Chelsea, ESPN Classic (1st Leg: 1-1 in Spain)

Wednesday

11:30 - Bayern Munich vs AC Milan, ESPN2 (1st Leg: 2-2 in Italy)

2:00 - Liverpool vs PSV, ESPN Classic (1st Leg: 3-0 Liverpool in Holland)

Note: These are Pacific Times.

The only match that has no bearing is the Liverpool-PSV game. The other three are still up for grabs and Man U, Chelsea, and AC Milan have to come out and score.

Apologies to Seth, but I don't see Man U losing at Old Trafford. Likewise, I'd favor Valencia against a Chelsea side that didn't look all that great at home last week.

If they show this game a 2nd time on Classic its going to be from one of the greatest comebakcs in Champions League history. Its probably going to be a very dull and boring match.

It would be pretty cool to see 3 English teams in the semi's.

Agreed, I would think Man U is going to win the game and move on. Chelsea is always weird. They have looked like crap for the majority of some games this year and then score a goal or two in the final 15 minutes to pull out a victory. I'm gonna go ahead and predict a Drogba goal also. I believe that Bayern Munich will move on as well and obviously Liverpool will.

My semifinalists will be Man U, Valencia, Bayern Munich, and Liverpool.

And Carrick puts Man U up 1-0 with a good shot that the keeper had no chance on. It's 2-2 on aggregate and Man U would advance if it ended this way.

Roma doesn't even look like a UEFA Cup team right now. United should get a couple of real good counter chances in the next 22 minutes as well.

Incidentally, I've got the Manchester Utd - Roma game on the TV, the MLB.tv broadcast windowed on my computer, the ESPN gamecast of Valencia - Chelsea to the right of it, and the Valencia website's text commentary above that. Confusing stuff.

An unbelievable offensive display from Man U today. Unreal. Roma is barely even mounting an attack right now. Man U has more shots on goal then Roma has shots.

In the other match Valencia is up 1-0 on Chelsea at halftime.
