US National Team and Klinsmann look like their in some preliminary talks to take over the coach's spot.

 

This would be huge for the US. Hopefully the USSF remembers how to negotiate a contract and doesn't lowball him. There is no reason he should not be the US coach for the next 4 years.

 

I'd hope that money isn't too much of a factor. With the monumental disppointment of this summer's World Cup, I hope USSF realizes how close they can be to being a force in world soccer. Spending some money on a solid coach is a big step in improving the US's standing.

From what I have read (a long time ago), the USSF is not exactly straped for cash. Money should not be a problem.

pk's suck. i really don't like how the mls "playoffs" work. the regular season is too long to make these 3 rounds of games to determine the winner. at least use away goals to determine the winner in a tie.

Did anybody else watch the Arsenal game today? I swear based on the number of great chances Arsenal failed to capitalize on that the match was fixed. It was almost like they were trying not to score.
