anybody else play in a men league (indoor), just got invited to participate with a group of other old farts, I was the best in shape at 47 and our yngest two are 29 and way over weight (good for them though trying to get back in shape) Any suggestion for indoor shoes?

I just started playing last week. Are you playing on field turf or astro turf?

While this is bumped, rumors are that United and Liverpool both have some interest in Ronaldo. Also Chelsea got Anelka for 15m I assume he will be Drogbas long term replacement, as he has made it clear that he wants to leave in the summer.

Longtime Fire assistant Denis Hamlett will be named the Fire's new HC.

In addition, the Trib is reporting that the rumors of the Fire reaching a jersey sponsorship deal with Best Buy are true. Luis Arroyave speculated that part of Best Buy's motivation to make the deal comes from the fact that they're opening stores in Mexico this year.

Ronaldo is getting old, but Liverpool could use him for making next seasons Champions League push. I thought Anelka had turned down Chelsea.

I play on field turf and wear puma indoor shoes. Just get something comfortable that has good traction -- no cleats necessary.

Chelsea had an initial offer of I think 12m turned down. Yeah I dont see Ronaldo adding that much to either. Yeah Liverpool needs another striker to go along with Torres, but Ronaldo hasnt been able to stay fit for a while now.

He looks like he has added the 2003 Carlos Zambrano diet to his resume is part of the problem. Still I would not be surpsied to see Ronaldo have one more two year run where he is still world class.

Well Ronaldo is also a well known partier, while he could get away with that when he was younger it looks like it is starting to catch up to him now. I think if healthy he would be better then Kuyt or Crouch but I am not sure that he can stay healthy.

They probably won't allow cleats even on field turf. Here is what I use for field turf.

Ronaldo is fat.

That is all. Fat. I doubt he could keep pace in the Prem, considering it's pretty freneticly paced.

Arsenal slip with a draw 1-1. ManU and Newcastle were tied 0-0 at the half, United win 6-0. We now again have a two way tie a the top.

Just a disappointing result from Arsenal. To draw 1-1 at the Emirates against a team barely out of the relegation zone is horrendous.

What a surprise...Juve get a disputed last minute penalty to salvage a draw.

Are you suggesting that the officiating in Serie A isn't on the level?

thanks for the help.

Either people don't know what to recommend for indoor soccer shoes or it is one of those threads where you can talk a good game but you haven't played in a while. The last option is this thread is just for "elite" soccer fan and not for the ordinary soccer participant.

So let's try this again what would be ideal shoes to play indoor scoocer

I used to play with Puma Cup Trinomics, but that was a very long time ago.

No idea what's on the market these days.
