Goodbye Ole Gunnar. As much as I hated United I always like Solskjaer, and injuries wrecked what could have been an even better carrer.

Also in sad news the Sevilla midfielder Antonio Puerta who suffered a heartattack on the pitch over the weekend has passed away at the age of 22.

Solskjaer will be missed, he scored some huge goals for United.

Puerta had a pregnant girlfriend (wife?) as well, very sad.

Leicester City defender Clive Clarke collapsed at half time during their game with Nottingham FOrest last night, and a player in a local league down here in Kent (Hi, mum!) died over the weekend midgame.

The beginning of the Liverpool game yesterday night, meanwhile, moved me to tears. Its a true tragedy, and great credit to Liverpool and their fans that they did that.

Does anyone know if Adu has got any playing time now that Benefica has started their season. I know that he got into the Champions league game, but what about their season games, and if he did how has he looked?

I don't think he has gotten off the bench yet.

i watched an epl game with my friend this weekend (haven't seen many) and i think it's awesome that peter schmeichel's son is now playing for man city. Kasper looked really good, and it would've been ridiculous if he'd converted that header toward the end of the game, since that's one thing that his dad is really known for. Peter was probably the best goalie I've ever seen, and it looks like Kasper is going to make a big name for himself too.

Schmeichel has been immense so far this year. He and Gordon (on Sunderland) have made some great saves and kept some games competitive by themselves, it seems.

Dempsey scored again in the first half today. Giving him back to back games with a goal.

he also set-up the second goal. fulham was down 3-1 in the 75th but came back and equalized 3-3 in the 90th.

Danny Szetela is moving to play in La Liga. He agreed to a move with Racing de Santander. I love these young American players moving to Europe.

Shunning Roma and Newcastle in the process. I guess he likes the spanish style of play.

I believe Santander drew against Barca 0-0 last week fwiw.

It's good for him. he'll get an immediate opportunity to at least make the bench, i think.

Wow he was drawing some nice intrest though. Newcastle might have been a decent fit for him. Racing will probably give him the most PT though which is of the most interest.

He figured in all three goals. Great game for him, especially considering he played the target role the whole game.

Fulham's defense sucks something fierce, though.

Getting rid of Zat Knight was a bad move. he'd been coming around of late.

I am officially anti-Bob Bradley.

Joga Feio:

Goalkeepers: Tim Howard (Everton, England), Chris Seitz (Real Salt Lake)

Defenders: Carlos Bocanegra (Fulham, England), Steve Cherundolo (Hannover, Germany), Jay DeMerit (Watford, England), Oguchi Onyewu (Standard Liege, Belgium), Heath Pearce (Hansa Rostock, Germany), Frank Simek (Sheffield Wednesday, England), Jonathan Spector (West Ham, England)

Midfielders: DaMarcus Beasley (Glasgow Rangers, Scotland), Michael Bradley (Heerenveen, Netherlands), Bobby Convey (Reading, England), Clint Dempsey (Fulham, England), Benny Feilhaber (Derby, England), Pablo Mastroeni (Colorado)

Forwards: Davy Arnaud (Kansas City), Landon Donovan (Los Angeles), Eddie Johnson (Kansas City), Josh Wolff (1860 Munich, Germany)

No Jozy Altidore, are you joking? No Adu?

Now I get to watch a team with one piece of flair (Dempsey) instead of 3 get destroyed by Brasil and you're telling me I'm not even going to get to lol at a Bornstein vs Ronaldhino one-on-one?

This is unconscionable or however the hell you spell that word.

Plus Davy Arnaud has had as many flashes of brilliance as Altidore...
