Jacques Jones should get 1/2 an rbi for his hard slide to second to prevent a throw for the double play. Yeah, the ball was slowly hit, and Nevin may not have been thrown out at first, but Jones' take out slide helped us score a run.

Can anyone tell me if they see a small difference in JP's swing from the beginning of the year? He couldn't hit the ball 3 feet in the air for a while, and now he is actually getting the ball up-I'm just wondering if he might have changed anything to make that happen.

Seems like he has a shorter, quicker swing now, like he has figured out that he doesn't have a lot of power and just needs to hit well-placed balls to get on base. Earlier in the year it seemed like he was being too aggressive with his swing itself and pitchers were taking advantage of it.
