Kudos to the Cub fan, seated behind homeplate last night, who had the 'Fire Dusty' sign. It was great to see the sign being held up for the Comcast viewers. I think the fist-pumping was great. I did see someone in a red coat rush down to the area in the 8th and I feared the 'MacPhail Thought Police' had seized the sign. But he survived.

I think he echoes our views here.

Besides waving to the camera while on his cell phone which I can't stand...that kid was great. I'm sure the "red coats" came down and said don't hold up that poster. As we know if the Cubs are loosing in the 7th, 8th or 9th inning the game is over so he probably said, "F iT!!" and kept the sign up!!

I had to laugh at that also. I was surprised how long he stayed there before he was asked (made) to remove it. Good job to whomever that was!

He wasn't asked to remove it. He put it back up when Jones whiffed to end the game.

It looked like the guy behind him was getting pissed off at him though. Probably for blocking his view. I thought he was going get in a fight.

Unless he was a Brewers fan, I probably would have thanked him for blocking my view. Who wants to watch this train wreck?

Does anyone have a picture of this?

I have a screencap, but it didn't turn out well, it's all blurry. I'll post it if you really want.

I'd actually like to see it too, regardless of quality. Thanks!

"We've been trying to figure it out," Baker said. "We've been trying to figure it out the whole time."

He'll keep thinking. All the way until Hendry, the guy making the decisions, happens to agree with the guy holding the sign.

Never heard of that writer before but i like his style :D

So where is it? I'd really love to see a photo or something of this....even better would be the audio for the conversation between the sign-holder and security but I'm guessing no one has that.

The Brewers feed tonight kept showing 2 guys with "fire Dusty" shirts and signs. Let's hope this trend spreads. I was displeased to see the paper bag craze last only 2 games.

I feel bad for the guy, seeing as the Cubs management are going to scaepgoat the 2006 season on him, for being "so darn negative."

At the game on tuesday night a guy walked around with a fire dusty sign in the second inning but disappeared after that. got quite a few cheers from the crowd.
