Do you have win/loss breakdowns for when the Cubs walk more/fewer times than their opponents? I can't imagine there would be too many games we did outwalk our opponents but it would interesting to me nonetheless. Thanks.

This will be Dusty Bakers final series in Chicago.

You think they fire him before the White Sox series? With no offday in between?

That'd be awesome.

Maybe they'll fire him mid-game.

Right in the middle of the field preferably. Like when he is out making a pitching change. Hendry should walk out to the mound, take dusty's hat off, and make him walk out of the park. Through the stands so everyone can throw their beer on him and laugh at him.

Haha

"Well, Dude ump sir dude, I want to put eh...neifi in for My pitcher here, and eh...Murton should leave the game and dude...how about..."

*Hendry walks up*

"You're fired, man"

"Dude.....I was just about to..."

"Leave."

*walks out*

And with that, Dusty never completed a sucessful double switch in his time as cubs manager.

On that note, does anyone think the umpire helps dusty with double switches?

"See, I want to move Murton to short."

"Are you sure? I mean, he's kind of a butcher in left."

"True, but I want his bat. Aw screw it, I want to take Murton out and...Freddie Bynum in left, but I want him to bat 9th. What do I have to do to do that?"

"You have to take the pitcher out."

"Aw shucks. But the big guy is pitching so well...he's got a no-hitter going...80 pitches through 8 1/3...meh, I'll do it. Can I bring in Remlinger?"

"No. He's pitching for the Braves."

"Dude, it's like I ain't catching any fish right now. How about Estes?"

"I think he died or something; look, you have to bring in a pitcher from your team."

"What's a team? Can Neifi pitch?"

They'll do it during the seventh inning stretch. Hendry will announce that he will be the guest singer of "Take Me Out To The Ball Game" and at the end of the song instead of saying 'Let's get some runs!!', Hendry will say 'Dusty, YOU'RE FIRED!!' and Wrigley will erupt.

If I remember correctly...last time we faced Capuano, and the Brewers we started one of those 6 game streaks in which we scored a total of 3 runs....I think Capuano pitched a complete game shutout....just loving Cubs baseball.

Let's see who Dusty blames after today's loss. Either I'm playing too many kids or I don't have my full team back. I used to be a Dusty backer, but I'm done. I hate this team and I hate this coaching staff!
