The way the Astros have been playing lately, they probably are the perfect opponent for the Cubs to start their winning against.

 

I would not be shocked at all if the Astros got swept. They're looking absolutely awful lately. If they can't hit Elizardo Ramirez, I shudder to think what Zambrano will do to them.

To be honest I've completely ignored the Stros this season so far. It will be interesting to see what we come up against this game. I have no idea what kind of team they're fielding this year.

You definitely want to load your lineup with LH speed bats at Minute Maid...

 

 

Really. This is one of the worst lineups I have seen from Dusty during his tenure here.

 

Shouldn't he be familiar with minute maid by now? This one just confirms that the man doesn't think about what he is doing.

 

In order to have a chance with this team, we need to be given the best chance to win. It's not happening.

I want to know who gave him permission to miss yesterday's game.

 

Fred you need to coordinate better with the team, like maybe give them 24 hours notice of your pending absence so they can reschedule.

No Murt at MMP? Didn't he go yard twice there last year? Is the pitcher a lefty or righty? If he is a righty, I have no idea why Jones wouldn't be hitting third while he is in a hotstreak. His doubles are useless when the pitcher can't drive him in.

 

 

 

Oh wait, just realized that with Pierre and Womack leading off, the real lineup starts "Barrett, Walker, Ramirez, Jones"

 

so he's hitting 4th, MAYBE 5th if you consider Womacks hot start.

ESPN says Nieve(also RH) is pitching. Either way, benching Murton for Bynum is a poor decision.

 

I thought Nieve pitched yesterday when they scratched Oswalt?
