Considering Marmol has more options then Aardsma at this point, I suspect Marmol will be th eone to go down when Williamson come back. BUT, if Marmol can pitch well during this stint, it wouldn't surprise me if the Cubs move Williamson to a team that needs help in the bullpen, ahemGiantsahem.

He's a starter.

 

Can he start for Rusch the next time his spot in the rotation comes up?

He could, but I'd rather see him work on his control in the minors and compete for a rotation spot next year.

i dont have a problem with him working out of the pen for the rest of the year. id rather him face mlb hitters in the pen than him starting AA. Hes got good stuff. He really doesnt need 'work'.
