cedeno's ops is a lot higher batting 7th or 8th. might be best to keep him there and let him continue to build his confidence.

While I don't argue that, I must hope at some point Murton moves further up the lineup.

Why does Hairston INSIST on sliding head first into 1st??? :x :x :x

 

I don't know, but he's safe if he runs through. If I'm a coach I make him stay after the game and run down the line and time it. Then I time him sliding head first. I shouldn't even have to say anything.

 

How about you tell him you've seen him do it at least half a dozen times, and not once has he been safe.
